set more clocks in vista or seven

In Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7,  we can the multiple clocks with different time zones, as shown in the below example, which shows the local time, Eastern Time, and time in India.

To add more than one clock at the same time, first of all you have to click on the start menu and then to go control panel. Then go to “Clock, Language and Region” option. Here you find “Add clocks for different time zones” option. Click on it. A new window will open to you. In the Additional Clocks tab, check the first Show this clock box, then selects the time zone for the second clock, and the name of the clock. If you want more than two clocks repeat the same steps for the third clock. Once all clocks have been enabled click OK and now when hovering over the time and date in the Taskbar or clicking on the time you should see all new time zones.

Remove login password from vista or windows 7

At the time of starting Windows Vista or 7, the system makes us enter our password to log in. It does not make us good feeling. Today, I have come with a tip to get rid of this problem.

While installing Vista or 7 and starting using it, we are to be required to enter in a password for our account. But after that, we are not really put a choice to remove the password if we do not want it. We are just sort of stuck typing it in every time and that can get old rather quickly.

If we have many users who use our computer, we should consider leaving it this way. It is a good way of having security feature and it helps to keep all of the different accounts, files and preferences separate from each other. But at the time of one user, we should be able to get rid of the password prompt if we want.
If you would like to bypass the Windows Vista or 7 log on process and remove your password, just follow these steps given below by me.

   1. Go to Start menu and then Control Panel.
   2. Click on the User Accounts and Family Safety link.
   3. Then, click on the User Accounts link.
   4. Under the “Make changes to your user account” section, click on the Remove Your Password link for    your account.
   5. On the next screen that comes up, enter in your current password.
   6. Click on the Remove Password button to confirm everything.
   7. Close out of all the open windows and restart your computer. It will allow you to test the system to make sure your password really was removed.

From now on, when you start up your Vista or 7 computer, you will be taken to your desktop automatically and you will no longer have to worry about a password.

Google Chrome 20

Google has recently released the newer version of Google Chrome named Google Chrome and now it is final and ready for download for Windows, Linux and Mac. The newer version brings a few changes in its previous interface and functionality as well. But Google Chrome20 still contains at least 20 security fixes.

It has been improved its playback support documents. SVG and. PDF and sandboxing system used to open web pages in a secure, isolated from the rest of the operating system. More specifically, the possibility was reduced launched the sandbox processes interfere with each other, thus potential security problems.

Chrome 20 keeps a long list of enhancements to improve performances, reduce memory consumption and increase overall stability, even as a welcome upgrades for each personal computer modest, limited in terms of available resources. In my point of view, the new Google Chrome20 will make internet browsing more safer, easier and comfortable.

clean registry and unnecessary files from your hard

Computer users whose are my friends say that they get out of space on the system partition at the time of  installing only the necessary applications such as browser, office suite, photo editing software, multimedia player and antivirus and so on. In addition to lack of space, another drawback is that it brought to the “Windows is going hard” warning. Maybe, the causes below are familiar to you but I will mention a few of them:
1. Presence of viruses or other malicious software like spyware, bloatware, crapware.
2. Registers loaded with useless information.
 3. Numerous applications in start-up.
 4. Temporary files scattered on your hard disk and files browser cache.
What I have to say is that you will not solve it if you do not do anything about it, because Windows does not integrate another “authority” to clean the system automatically and especially effective. And tools which are provided are also not too easy.
There are some applications that can clean your hard disk, freeing up space elsewhere and deleting unnecessary registry data. Some of them also resolve a number of malware and Trojans. I will inform you about an application which is one of the best applications I know.  Its name is CCleaner.

CCleaner is the best for being simplicity and effectiveness. Furthermore, it is free. Its interface provides us with some effective weapons that can operate with a single click to clean temporary files, cache, cookies and other specific browsers, registry, startup configuration and uninstalling applications.
Getting control on information about to be deleted, we can check or uncheck the boxes associated to integral part of various sections such as browser, explorer and system registry. If we do not want to risk deleting certain data, you can opt for a back-up before the application to execute tasks.

facebook keep you safe

I have firm faith that one had to visit a link sent by others to enter the computer’s antivirus alert if one uses internet regularly. What would have happened but if you had not installed an antivirus?
Facebook developer team have researched about it and found an important step to protect its users. The company works together with Microsoft, McAfee, Sophos, Symantec and Trend Micro to build up a database of dangerous links and have made a decision that any links which will be posted on Facebook will be filtered for user safety.

Moreover, Facebook has recently offered a shop just for antivirus. All users connect to the Internet should have one installed on their computer or laptop, but for those not there now AV Marketplace. No, Facebook does not sell antivirus programs to its users at this moment. The site offers social networking but anyone can download an antivirus that is free for a period of six months. If the user is satisfied, then he can purchase from the manufacturer.
Facebook has offered by Norton antivirus Virus 2012, Trend Micro Titanium Security Essentials, Microsoft Security Essentials and McAfee Internet Security 2012. For Mac owners there are two antivirus applications from Trend Micro and Sophos. In my point of view, I recommend all users accessing Facebook or not to install an antivirus, be it free or purchased.

The reviews also discuss the pros and cons of the models. This helps the purchaser to decide what he wants and what he does not want. With this knowledge it will be easier to buy and get what one wants.

Safari going to face a challenge

Safari browser developed by Apple is going to face some competition for the first time. Because Firefox can make a brand new browser for ipad as soon as they can. Although most would think that it is consecrated Firefox, Mozilla takes us out today contradict the ramp with other plans: “Junior”, a brand new browser optimized for the Apple iPhone and iPad especially.

As the name suggests, we all should not expect a complex browser as we used to use on PCs, Mozilla “Junior” is meant to be an application which is easy to navigate to the Internet: no tabs, no who-knows-what customization facilities.

Moreover, basic elements are missing, even though today no longer focus shows how rudimentary is the application stage. Stage to say that there is a big difference to the “Junior” will be released for iPhone and iPad.

Shortcut command of windows8

There is no denial, Windows 8 has marked a definite change of direction for the Windows platform, which provides a secondary interface class which has full compatibility with devices based on touch screens.
Windows 8, at least in the Consumer Preview version, presents users with a completely new Metro interface masking the desktop completely and eliminates iconic Start Menu, replacing the Start screen filled with great rectangular icons illustrating applications installed.

There are several reasons why a user may prefer keyboard instead of a mouse. One is convenience. Most important though is productivity, which Metro interface aspect still leaves much to be desired, especially if you have a touch screen interface.Fortunately, Windows 8 supports a comprehensive list of applicable commands of short combinations of keys and we can quickly activate functions we need:

  • Windows Key – essential for most commands, the Windows key down allows individual display of the screen in Metro-style. You can type the desired program name in the search box, just like Windows 7.
  • Win + B – allows rapid switching in Windows classic and puts the focus on Windows Tray Notifications section.
  • Win + R – opens the so-called Charms Menu, a set of tools shown to the right screen, the search, share functions and advanced configuration options.
  • Win + D – Show Desktop command works in Windows 7, showing the classic Windows desktop.
  • Win + E – Launch Windows Explorer file manager, open the Computer section.
  • Win + F – Opens the File Search Metro, which can initiate searches to find files or information from files hosted on your hard drive.
  • Win + W – opens the search function in Metro Settings screen.
  • Win + Y – allows rapid visualization of classical desktop.
  • Win + Z – Opens App menu bar for current application.
  • Win + Page Up/Down – running lists back/forward.

Limitation of windows8

Windows 8- the latest windows operating system- will not be able to play video DVDs, unless you buy extra for Media Center package, or install a separate software for DVD or CD player which are able to provide this functionality.

It is not that Windows 8, be it consumer preview or developer preview, is offered without Media Center component, delivered free of charge for Windows 7, but lacks any support needed to play DVD video and receiving TV broadcasts, with a TV tuner.

In an article which is posted on his blog Building Windows 8, Microsoft justified its decision citing declining popularity enjoyed this content, explaining that maintaining support for optical discs involves substantial costs necessary technology licensing.

Anyway, Windows 8 will be an operating system focused on online media, offering home comforts required for media playback compression based on H.264, VC-1, MP4, AAC, WMA, MP3, PCM and Dolby Digital Plus, saved in a variety of file formats (except those with an. VOB, used on DVD).

Windows 8, who wishes to benefit from support for playing movies on DVD, can acquire the necessary components by clicking the “Add Features to Windows 8″, available in Control Panel.
