Enable Passcode Protection
By following these steps given below, your iPhone will make
you to type in a four-digit passcode whenever you wake the handset up from
sleep.
=> Press your “iPhone's Settings app”.
=> Click on “General”.
=> Select “Passcode Lock”.
=> Click on “Turn Passcode On”.
=> Enter a 4-digit passcode and confirm it.
=> Press the power button to put your iPhone to sleep.
=> Press it again and your iPhone will ask you to enter a
password to unlock it.
Enable SIM PIN Protection
By performing these steps below, your iPhone will make you
to type in a four-digit passcode whenever you turn on the phone to unlock the
SIM. This will prevent someone from making calls with your SIM in your iPhone,
or removing your SIM and using it in another phone.
=> Press your “iPhone's Settings app”.
=> Click on “Phone”.
=> Select “SIM PIN”.
=> Press “Change PIN”.
=> Enter the Current Password.
=> Enter a 4-digit passcode and confirm it.
When you turn on your iPhone next time you will be asked to
unlock your SIM. If you forget your PIN, you will need to contact your carrier
to unlock the SIM.
Enable Auto-Lock
=> Press your “iPhone's Settings app”.
=> Click “General”.
=> Press “Auto-Lock”.
=> Select the amount of idle time you want your iPhone to
wait before it goes to sleep.
Re-map Your Home Button
=> Press your “iPhone's Settings app”.
=> Click on “General”.
=> Select “Home Button”.
=> Instead of "Phone Favorites," select either
Home or iPod.
Use a Password Storing App
=> Press your “iPhone'sApp Store app”.
=> In the search field type "Keeper" and then
click on “Keeper”.
=> Press the $0.99 button and purchase it.
